The price of Vietnam Plywood for packing varies from 180-350 USD/CBM, FOB Hai Phong Port, depending on the quality requirement and the market.

There are two main types of Plywood for Packing in Vietnam:

• Plywood 2 time hot-press
• Plywood 1 time hot-press

1.1 – Plywood 2 times hot-press

Advantage

• Strong core, can do CNC routing
• Smooth & Flat surface
• Multiple surface options: Pine, Birch, Okoume, Bintangor, Styrax, Sapele, …
• Low thickness tolerance

Disadvantage

• Higher price than 1 time-hot press
• Long production process

1.2 – Plywood 1 time hot-press

Advantage

• Simple production process, therefore the lead time can be quick
• The most competitive price
• Strong core, can be CNC routing if require
• Relatively flat surface
• Surface option: White (styrax) or Red (Bintangor)

Disadvantage

•  Thickness tolerance would be higher than 2 times hot-press plywood, normally +/-0.5mm, +/- 1mm, +/-2mm for the difference thick
